The lodge has three main camps offering the choice of self-catering camp sites with ablutions or a tented camp consisting of eight safari tents (2 with double beds) and (6 with two single beds each).

The camp with safari tents and guest rooms will ensure an absolutely private and social bush experience ideal for corporate self-catering getaways, team-buildings or family reunions.

The tented camp has access to communal kitchens and spotless ablution block. The shared kitchens have electrical appliances, but you’ll need to take your pots, crockery and cutlery.

You can also stay in the Guesthouse Suites which sleeps 6 people and can be used by one big group, for couples or single persons.

A cosy boma is situated inside the camping area, with braai facilities and a camp fire setting.

Zeederberg Cottages is a guest farm situated just outside of the town Vaalwater, the only town on the plateau of the Waterberg. We are two and a half hours drive from Pretoria and three hours from Johannesburg on the N1 North.

You can easily make this your base in the Waterberg from where you can plan a variety of day trips.

– Fishing at the Mokolo Dam (+- 60 km from town)
– Elephant back safaris with Shambala Game Reserve

All our cottages are situated within a very big garden with lovely lawns. We have listed over 75 different species of birds within our beautiful garden, thus a bird lover’s paradise. So, whether you wish to keep yourself busy with day visits to exciting places, or just want to relax next to the salt pool, we promise that you will love your stay and come back again.
