Sebenza Creek Bush Camp is located about 14 km outside Modimolle, and offers a true bushveld camping experience for those who want to reconnect with nature. The camp is set in a peaceful, shady environment where guests can relax to the sounds of abundant birdlife and the calls of the wild. It is a perfect retreat for families, long-stay campers and nature lovers looking for tranquillity away from the bustle of the city.
The campsite has been designed with both comfort and simplicity in mind. Each stand accommodates up to six people and is equipped with standard electrical and water points. Every site also has its own free-standing braai. Ablution facilities are neat and modern, fitted with showers, toilets and basins. While the bushveld setting ensures a sense of escape, modern amenities such as Wi-Fi are available, allowing campers to stay connected if needed.
Guests have access to a communal swimming pool, and there are walking and cycling trails through the surrounding bushveld. The camp is also home to a wide variety of birds, making it a popular spot for birdwatching. Evenings are best spent around the campfire, enjoying the sunset and the tranquillity of the natural surroundings.
Sebenza Creek emphasises a quiet and respectful camping atmosphere, with plenty of space between stands and a no-loud-music policy to ensure everyone can enjoy the peace of the bush. Longer-term campers are welcome, and special tariffs are available for pensioners as well as group bookings.
Facilities include a washing machine, children’s play area, trampoline, volleyball and jukskei courts, and even a small library. A communal braai area is available, and in future phases, a bar and shop will be added for extra convenience.
Rates are charged per stand per night and include one vehicle. Midweek rates start at R420 per stand per night (maximum six persons), with weekend and holiday rates at R480. Pensioners enjoy discounted tariffs, including special midweek packages, and long-stay rates are available from R2 900 per month for up to two people and one vehicle. Additional guests can be accommodated at R50 per person per night.
