The new Metalian Genie – Not only built for those with B licences ( less than 750 kgs) and lighter tow vehicles, but for everyone that wants a comprehensive camping trailer in an easy to tow, easy to handle package.
Constructed in robust and rust resistant 3CR12, seam sealed and powder-coated. The Genie boasts a large side kitchen cupboard – deep enough to take a microwave oven, rear storage for 6 ammo boxes, drivers side cupboard for utilities like electrical charge panels, water pump and filter, recovery gear and there’s even room for a built in water tank and battery compartment!
The Metalian genie trailer can be suited to anyone’s needs because of its simplistic design and light weighted counterparts. You can order yours in either a braked or unbraked model. The Unbraked model is a 900 kgs strong axle with a tare of only 260kgs! And the braked model has a tare of 300 kgs.
From the pictures above you will notice slight differences in some of the trailers featured in the video, as some clients have requested a slide out compartment for their travel fridge/freezer, and other preferred a slightly more robust axle to allow for hardcore 4×4 and overlanding trail camps.
Ultimately it is the weight that sets apart the key differences between B and EB licenced trailers.
