Woodlands Stop Over

Situated on the banks of the Tati River, and the site of the original “Hunter’s Road”, which was previously travelled by hunter’s, naturalists, explorers & missionaries on their way to the Victoria Falls in the 18th Century.

Woodlands makes an ideal stop over en-route to the Okavango Swamps, Chobe Game Reserve, Central Kalahari, Makgadigadi Pans, Botswana National Parks and Victoria Falls.

We offer the following facilities:

• Fully furnished and spacious Woodlands Cottage which has 2 en-suite bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen with appliances, a lounge & dining area. Rolling green lawns, a private braai area and overlooking the Tati River. Sleeps 4.
• 8 beautifully furnished en-suite Riverview Rooms with kitchenette containing appliances, crockery & cutlery, fridge & microwave. Each sleeps 2.
• Crisp clean bedding provided and tea/coffee facilities.
• 6 clean and comfortable Campsite Chalets with tea/coffee facilities and private braai area make use of our immaculate ablution block.
• Our lawned campsites each have electrical & water points.

Pre-prepared home-cooked meals as well as braai packs available. Malt and wine, wood, ice, snacks and other essential items are also available at reception for your convenience.
