Set on a small game farm in the Dinokeng and Rust De Winter area, WagonDrift Lodge offers exclusive camping & caravaning on only two sites.
Each camp site has its own ablution block consisting of a separate toilet, shower & washing area.
Each site has a fire pit where you can make a log fire with the wood that is supplied. The braai area is built up to waist height, has a grid and a light that shines over the braai.
WagonDrift Lodge derives its name from the ox wagons that traversed the lovely bushveld many years ago. You can still find wagon tracks carved into the rock, reminding us of the many cultures and people who searched for a better life.
The region is rich in history, particularly of Afrikaans, English, Setswana, Sepedi, isiNdebele and Xitsonga-speaking people.
Today the area is characterised by a mélange of these multi-cultural influences, with towns and villages sporting hints of the bygone eras that helped to shape their character.
WagonDrift also offers chalet, cottages ande tented camp accommodation. The chalets are set amidst rolling lawns and indigenous landscapes in close proximity to the pool and bar area.
The two self-catering family cottages each have two bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with 2 single beds. Each unit comes with a fridge/freezer, microwave oven & two plate stove and oven, tea/coffee making facilities, safe and hairdryer.
