TO Strand beach resort is situated in the small, picturesque town of Leisure Bay on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal.
The three-star graded resort, only 26km south of Margate and 10km north of the Wild Coast Sun, borders a clean and safe semi-private beach with shark nets, and which is watched over by lifeguards during weekends and the season.
The resort forms part of a greater conservation area and many types of birds and small wildlife can be spotted on the short walking routes through our subtropical forest.
TO Stand has a total of 141 spacious caravaning and camping stands, each with water and power points.
The campsite has two ablution blocks, which are serviced daily.
To keep young and old alike busy, TO Strand offers a games room, mini-golf, fishing, a swimming pool, and entertainment programs during holiday seasons.
Safety is high priority at TO Strand, and the resort is patrolled 24/7 by a security company.
Other accommodation options include 63 self-catering chalets and two Rivertents.
Rivertent 1 is a small bow tent equipped with two single beds, bedding and a small fridge. It has a small boma with braai facilities and two camp chairs and the first bag of wood and fire starters is provided on arrival.
Rivertent 2 is more of a luxury tent and is equipped with a double bed, bedding, a fridge, a gas stove and cutlery and crockery. This tent is situated on the bank of the Boboyi River and has an amazing view from the porch.
Guests can also enjoy a sundowner or two at our bar in season and they can stock up on basic necessities at our shop.
TO STrand also has a modern conference centre, equipped with Wi-Fi, air-con and audio-visual facilities. The centre has three venues, which can accommodate between 80 and 300 delegates, and an adjoining restaurant.

Travel south on N2 freeway which becomes the R61 after the toll booth at Port Shepstone.
Continue on the road to Port Edward, bypassing Trafalgar, Palm Beach, Munster, Glenmore, and Leisure Crest/Leisure Bay North (Kingfisher avenue) turnoffs.
Take the Leisure Bay South Torque Avenue turnoff, left towards the sea the road forks take the right fork; it is signposted T O Strand as well carry on straight and take the first left it is signposted for T O Strand as well.
At the bottom of the road is a T junction, turn right and the T O entrance is in front of you.
