Manufacturer attendance usually constitutes more than 90% of vendors from the South African market, making it the perfect place to find, compare, view and purchase all your caravan, off-road trailer, motorhome, outdoor gear and accessories. Expect a vast mix of manufacturers presenting their latest models and innovations with numerous new models due for launch. Unfortunately, due to the Covid lockdowns, the 2021 show was cancelled, but we are glad to say that … 2022 is a go for the show! Covid protocols will be in place at the show.
The Caravan Show at Gallagher Estate is the largest southern African exhibition and compares to the Salon Dusseldorf show for the European market. Simply, the Caravan Show is where you will find the latest and greatest caravans, trailers, motorhomes and accessories, all under one roof.
Caravan & Outdoor Life has officially partnered with the Caravan Show and this joint venture is only going to have a positive spinoff in years to come. After chatting to organizer Hampie de Kock, it is clear that the 2022 show is set for record attendance numbers, and this can only be good news for the vendors. Pull out your order books and pens, because with the incredible foot traffic that is set to come through the doors, sales records will be achieved. With over 30 000 feet through the door at the last show, it is without a doubt the place to find everything outdoor and camping related.

There will be a variety of new model caravans, off-road trailers, hybrids, and motorhomes on show, offering innovative design and excellent build quality. There is also an incredible amount of planning and behind-the-scenes preparation by the various dealers and manufacturers that needs to be highlighted. Days before the show begins, stands are feverishly being organised and kitted out with the latest caravans, motorhomes, trailers, outdoor products and accessories. All we see are the finished stands, sparkling clean and ready, awaiting interested browsers and show shoppers, so a big thumbs up needs to go to the vendors and exhibitors for their efforts.
The Caravan Show at Gallager Estate has become the benchmark for South African shows and sets the bar incredibly high. It’s efficiently run with ample security so that shoppers can take in their favourite caravan, motorhome, off-road trailer and outdoor products at their leisure.
