‘The Cottage’
The Cottage has a lovely view on the Hogsback Mountains and enjoys very peaceful surroundings. This self-catering cottage sleeps up to 10 guests, has 2 en-suite rooms on the bottom floor and 1 double bed with 4 single beds and a bathroom in the loft. There is also a guest toilet downstairs. It offers a huge open plan living area with a cosy fireplace. Alternatively, stay in on a rainy day and enjoy the full DSTV on a large flatscreen TV. The cottage is fully equipped with linen, towels and extra blankets. You will find everything you need in the kitchen including a 6 plate gas oven with stove and a large family sized fridge. Outside on the patio there is a braai area with a stainless steel braai with benches and tables.
‘Melody Cottage’
The Melody cottage is perfect for a romantic getaway for two. It offers a comfortable open plan living area with a huge fireplace (firewood is available) and full DSTV. While relaxing on the veranda, you can enjoy a lovely view over the Hogsback Mountains, listen to the birds and even spot a Cape Parrot or two.
‘Camping & Caravanning’
The campsite has a magnificent view of “Hogs” and offers a peaceful setting for you to relax and unwind. Our camping and caravanning sites are all situated on soft lawn with partial shade. Power points are available at selected sites and there is a conveniently situated ablution facility. Children are welcome to play on the wooden jungle gym and the swing set. The surrounding gardens boast a wonderful variety of flowers and plants which attracts many types of birds and butterflies some of which are unique to the area.
‘Group / family area’
There are also brand new toilets, showers and a fully equipped Kitchen for the sole use of the group and family unit visitors.
‘Trekker’s Lounge’
The Trekker’s Lounge is our indoor braai and entertainment facility and is free for use to all guests. It is a wonderful place to meet fellow campers and take in the majestic Hogsback Mountains from the deck while having a sundowner. There is a massive braai area, pool table and dartboard for use by guests. Behind the bar is a washing up area and fridge for general use. The Hogsback’s bottle store is open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm and Saturdays until 2pm.
