Sondela is a 4800 ha reserve in the heart of the Limpopo bushveld, only 90 minutes from Johannesburg. For the active family, Sondela offers various events for young and old throughout the year. There is a whole spectrum of accommodation options to choose from. If you prefer to relax in style, how about a stay in a luxury Makhato Bush Lodge or the 5-star Country House? Or, if you prefer to camp, book your spot at the Caravan Park or at the rustic Tambuki 4×4 Camp.
Sondela Caravan Park offers 89 demarcated stands, as well as 52 stands with private ablution facilities. All our stands have power and water points, as well as their own braai facilities.
The Caravan Park is set around a spectacular thatched ablution block, including built-in baby baths, a family bathroom and a separate bathroom that caters for wheelchair users. The stunning Premier Lapa houses the bar and entertainment area and offers DStv, a pool table, table tennis and darts. Other facilities at the Caravan Park include a heated swimming pool with heated spa, kiddies pool, a traditional boma braai area and one of a kind porta-potti flush.
Outstanding hospitality awaits you with pancakes and a cool drink on arrival, a free bag of ice and wood, free tractor and wagon game drive for four, and assistance with setting up and packing up your camp! No pets allowed.
