Set in a pristine dune forest, boasting giant trees and ample shade, Richards Bay Caravan Park has everything the discerning camper needs.

Choose from full-shaded sites to partially-shaded sites, all reasonably of fully grassed. All of the 261 sites have electrical power points and water taps close by.

No matter what your camping preference, Richards Bay Caravan Park has an option for you: Individual, well-screened sites that offer absolute privacy, or bigger spots that offer family or group togetherness. If you have an extra car or your own ski-boat, there’s even special sites to accommodate it.

Sites are well maintained, level and set in natural undisturbed sub-tropical bush – Richards Bay Caravan Park is a birdwatcher’s paradise and nature lover’s haven, with idealistic weather conditions even in the autumn and winter months.

The ample ablution facilities (eight in total) have all the conveniences expected from a top resort: Clean, well maintained, and serviced at all times. There’s hot water day and night, with scullery and laundry facilities as well.

Richard Bay Caravan Park has 24-hour security and electric fencing to ensure peace of mind.

 

 

Keeping the young ones busy is no problem: Paintball, trampolines, volleyball, swimmingpool, playground, giant chess board, games room, and more.

Want to get out and about? Richards Bay Caravan Park is only 5 – 10 minutes walk from a shark protected beach.

Easy boat launching is available at the Richards Bay small crafts harbour, with harbour tours, scuba diving, deep-sea fishing charters also on offer.

Richards Bay is also a great spot for water sports such as water-skiing, windsurfing, yachting, etc.

There are laundromats, restaurants, supermarkets (in shopping malls), golf, tennis, bowls, game viewing, and nature trails all within easy reach of the resort.

The modern Country Club just a few minutes away also offers a restaurant and bar facilities

The world-renowned Hluhluwe Umfolozi Game Reserve is well within a days trip, where the Big Five can be seen in their natural surroundings.

 

 

Directions
N2 from Durban. Take R34 (John Ross highway) off-ramp towards Meerensee. Turn right into Hibberd Drive, cross over the 4-way stop and enter security gate. Take the first road left into the park.
