Remoska’s succulent Tandoori Chicken

With the Remoska portable all-in-one cooking pot, nothing stops you from making your own Indian inspired Tandoori Chicken and, it’s incredibly easy. Tandoori chicken is a dish that consists of chicken that has been marinated in yogurt and spices that simply explode in your mouth.

Ingredients

Standard Remoska                          Grand Remoska

150ml plain yoghurt                              225ml plain yoghurt

2 garlic cloves, crushed                        3 garlic cloves, crushed

1 tsp ground cumin                                1 1/2 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp chilli powder                                  1 1/2 tsp chilli powder

1 lemon, juice                                           1 1/2 lemon, juice

2.5 cm ginger piece, grated                   4 cm ginger piece, grated

1/2 tsp salt                                                3/4 tsp salt

6 Chicken thighs, skinless, boneless    9 Chicken thighs, skinless, boneless

 

Method:

Mix together the yoghurt, garlic, spices, and salt in a large shallow dish.

Score the chicken pieces with a sharp knife and put into the yoghurt mixture, turning to coat. Cover and leave to stand for 1 hour, turning from time to time. Lift the chicken from the marinade and put into the Remoska.

Cook for approx 20 – 30 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through and there is no pink juice.
