KZN Durban, Queensburgh: Queensburgh Park

3506
VIEWS

Just 15 km from the CBD, one can visit U Shakaland, shop at the Pavilion and Gateway Malls, play golf on nearby courses, swim or surf at the various Durban beaches, go for an interesting boat trip round Durban bay in the Allen Gardiner cruise restaurant, visit the bird park or sharks board. Alternatively one could go inland to the valley of 1000 hills, stopping in at Phe Zulu or browsing round the various little shops or visit the Hillcrest Village Market.

This park is adjacent to the Roosfontein Nature which has plenty of birdlife; plus, there’s crested eagle nests in the park. Next to the children’s playground are farm birds and rabbits. At night the Egyptian geese come from the river to join the geese in the pen. Plenty to keep the children happy.
