Nestled in the picturesque Waterberg region of Limpopo, Pulani Park offers an ideal retreat for families and groups of friends seeking quality accommodation amidst the serene beauty of the bushveld.

Just 15 km from the convenience of Naboomspruit, with its range of shops and eateries, this peaceful park is perfect for those looking to reconnect with nature in a setting that provides both comfort and simplicity.

Pulani Park features 13 camping sites situated on seasonal grass or ground, with some sites offering the welcome shade of indigenous trees. Each site is thoughtfully equipped with a power point and access to water nearby, ensuring a convenient camping experience. Campers are encouraged to bring a 15-metre extension cord to reach the power points, as well as a net ground sheet to protect the grass. A braai facility is provided at each campsite, where guests can enjoy outdoor cooking, but it’s important to remember to bring your own grid.

The communal facilities at Pulani Park ensure that even in the heart of the bushveld, comfort is a priority. The shared ablution block is equipped with hot water showers, basins, and flushing toilets, offering a clean and reliable space for all guests. Additionally, a scullery is available for washing dishes after a day of relaxation or exploration. While there are no laundry facilities on-site, the park’s natural beauty and peaceful atmosphere more than make up for it.

In addition to camping, Pulani Park is also an excellent venue for weddings and special functions, providing an affordable yet beautiful setting for gatherings in the heart of Limpopo’s wilderness.

Although Pulani Park does not have an on-site restaurant or shop, the nearby town of Mookgophong, located just 22 km away, offers a range of grocery stores and dining options. Visitors are encouraged to stock up on supplies before arriving at the park to ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay.

For those who enjoy outdoor activities, Pulani Park offers plenty of opportunities for adventure and relaxation. Guests can cool off in the outdoor swimming pool, explore the surrounding landscape on hiking or mountain biking trails, and experience the joy of birdwatching and game viewing. The park’s location in the Waterberg foothills provides an ideal setting for wildlife enthusiasts, with its diverse flora and fauna offering endless opportunities for discovery.

Getting to Pulani Park is easy, with the majority of the journey on tarred roads and only a short 300-metre stretch of well-maintained gravel. The campsite is accessible to all types of camping vehicles, ensuring that visitors can enjoy a hassle-free arrival. The park is also pet-friendly, allowing guests to bring their dogs along, though prior arrangement is required. Once at the park, guests will feel secure thanks to the electric fence surrounding the campsite and the access control measures in place. As always, it’s advised to keep valuables secured, though the area is generally very safe.

Pulani Park is located in a malaria-free area, offering further peace of mind for visitors. While the park does not have WiFi, there is reliable cell signal for those who need to stay connected. The park’s remote setting, combined with these basic modern conveniences, makes it an ideal location for a digital detox without sacrificing all communication.

With its combination of natural beauty, practical amenities, and a welcoming atmosphere, Pulani Park is a perfect destination for those looking to escape the city and immerse themselves in the peacefulness of the Limpopo bushveld. Whether you’re staying for a weekend or a longer break, the park’s simplicity, charm, and range of activities make it an ideal spot for a relaxing and memorable holiday.
