It is manufactured from lightweight aluminium and high-quality robust canvas. Each rooftop tent has a comfortable 80mm high density memory foam mattress. Gas struts are fitted to the hardened inner shell, enabling you to quickly and effortlessly erect or dismantle your sleeping quarters.
The Moremi rooftop tent can be fitted to any make and model vehicle, trailer or SUV. Custom sizes are available upon request as the manufacturer boasts all types of fitments ranging from large SUV’s such as Mercedes Sprinter transit vans (sleeps 4 people) to the shortest of vehicles, Suzuki Jimny (Sleeps 2).
This rooftop tent is manufactured with 4 port holes for 270-degree access. Each opening is fitted with zipper sealable canvas door and mosquito net for both cool and warm summer nights, no matter whether you’re in Kalahari or the lowveld.
Internally, this rooftop tent is both spacious and comfortable, boasting a headroom of around 1.4 metres. Maneuvering into your sleeping position has never been so easy. In addition to this, there is a National Luna 12 LED light strip fitted in the apex of the tent with both white and yellow lighting options available.
Your rooftop tent setup time is literally under 30 seconds as all that is needed after you unlock the outer hinges is a quick flip of the wrist and setting the lock bar into position. Each hinge is fitted with 2 gas strut lifting mechanisms tested to around 700 Newtons for strength and durability.
The Moremi rooftop tent has zero dust ingress as the lid of the shell is designed to close with water-tight efficiency, even on the roughest terrain no matter the weather. The outer latches can be locked, keeping it secure while the vehicle is stationary or in motion.
