Pine Lodge Resort and Conference Centre

Pine Lodge Resort & Conference Centre is the only 4-star Caravan and Camping ground in the Eastern Cape, and when you see all its facilities, you’ll know why.

Pine Lodge Resort is set among the breathtaking coastal vegetation bordering the pristine Cape Recife Nature Reserve. Although beautifully remote, it’s only a 10-minute drive from Port Elizabeth’s bustling city centre and superb beaches. The resort offers excellent facilities and well-kept grounds – and it’s the only 4-star caravan- and camping ground in the Eastern Cape!

Pine Lodge’s well-grassed caravan park is one of the flagship campsites in the area and is a sought-after holiday destination. It offers 25 standard sites as well as 13 A-grade stands. Situated in the resort’s wonderfully scenic grounds, each site is spacious and equipped with an electrical outlet. The communal ablution facilities are clean, well-maintained and serviced daily, as are the easily accessible scullery facilities. To make your stay just that little bit more comfortable, there are also fully-equipped laundry facilities on site.

The resort offers a ‘go-no-further’ tuck shop (until 8 pm every evening) for all those last-minute necessities and luxuries you forgot to bring with you; these range from cold-drinks and sweet treats, to alcohol and other general items and toiletries.

Pine Lodge’s site cabins offer a unique experience for the caravaning and camping enthusiast, as they bring together the outdoor enjoyment of camping and the creature comforts of staying in a chalet – but at an affordable price. Each site cabin is situated on a caravan stand and has the same amenities as the resort’s chalets – including a television, private braai area, bar fridge, two single beds, a sleeper couch, lounge, private bathroom and basic self-catering. If you prefer a little more luxury when on holiday, then there are the resort’s 3-star timber chalets nestled among the picturesque dunes of the neighbouring Cape Recife Nature Reserve. These come fully equipped and can sleep up to 8 people.

The famous Island Seafood Grill, known for a wide variety of seafood cuisine, is Pine Lodge’s onsite restaurant and bar – which is open till late for guests and visitors. It is the perfect place for sitting back with a few relaxing sundowners, or for enjoying a family dinner with your loved ones. The Seagulls Coffee Shop, also situated around the swimming pool area, is open for light meals, desserts and refreshments during high season – and is especially convenient for days spent lounging at the poolside.
