BADGER LITE LAUNCH SPECIAL!
To celebrate the latest model in their range, Badger Caravans are selling the first 5 units of the Lite for only R249 000, including a 180 degree awning, a Hansen geyser, a 75 litre Flex fridge / freezer, a double gas stove and gas bottle.
With a Tare weight of 560kg and a GVM of 750kg, the recently launched Badger Lite is their first caravan that is able to be towed by a B licence holder.
The Lite has the same footprint as the X-Over and Extreme but there are a few subtle differences.
With 14-inch rims and a lighter suspension, this caravan is perfect for smaller vehicles wanting to visit those easy to reach destinations.
INSIDE
While this is an entry level caravan, there is still the luxury of a Queen-sized bed. (This can be upgraded to a King!)
With an impressive 17 storage lockers including Porta Potti Storage, a hanging cupboard, and shoe storage, you will never be short of space.
There is a padded headboard with reading lights and plugs are conveniently situated for charging.
Inside the caravan is a 75 litre Flex Fridge Freezer which can be accessed from both inside the caravan and from the rear door.
When sliding the fridge further into the caravan from the back, you get access to the wash up basin which can be used with the shower hose connected to the 80-litre water tank.
With loads of kitchen storage, you can customize the area to suit your needs.
Plenty of space for a microwave or air fryer and generous storage. Pictured below are the kitchen options we have done on the X-Over and Extreme.
Instead of the drawer there is a handy locker beneath the kitchen which is perfect for braai tongs, bread boards and braai dishes.
To the left of the kitchen, just inside the main door is a handy storage area that can be customized to your needs.
There is a fold up double gas stove to the right of the kitchen area
OPTIONS
As with the other X-Over and Extreme, one can customize this caravan to include an add-on-room which is attached to the awning, as well as a shower enclosure at the back.
The shower on the Lite would be accessed from outside the caravan.
Should you be looking for something more rugged and off road we have the Badger X-Over and Badger Extreme which are ready for the serious 4×4 territory.
The Extreme features the AL-KO Enduro Suspension while the X-Over uses the Burquip Rubberide Suspension which makes both caravans an absolute dream to tow.
These two models have a pull-out fridge slide with storage lockers or drawers to the right. The pull-out fridge allows for direct access to the en-suite bathroom.
