Less than an hour’s drive from Johannesburg, Nkwe Pleasure Resort is set in a lovely, serene, treed area close to a magnificent waterfall which cascades into a rock pool.
Here, on the banks of the Pienaars River, you’ll enjoy Nature at her best, with great birdlife, and scenic walks through peaceful shaded valleys. An ideal venue for family, friends and group get-togethers.
Nkwe’s caravan park has shady, grassed sites that are are electrified, the ablution blocks are clean and the on-site tuckshop stocks basic items and more. There’s a thatched lapa (suitable for private functions) with both spit and braai facilities which overlooks the waterfall and rock pool.
Self-catering chalets and static caravans are available for hire, and discounts are offered to pensioners and caravan club rallies.
The Wilgers and Pretoria East Hospitals are approx. 15 km from the park.
No pets are allowed without prior consent from management.
For Children There is a jungle gym and play area available for the little ones.
Directions From Johannesburg, take the N1 north, then the Lynnwood off-ramp. At the stop turn right, follow Lynnwood road until the Nkwe board, then turn right. The entrance is at the top of the street.
