12375
VIEWS

This tranquil resort is positioned on the banks of the Zamnyama River, which meanders its way through the rolling hills of the Eastern Cape. Birdlife is plentiful, and quiet days can be spent fishing, canoeing or swimming. Take a scenic walk down to Cove Rock and discover a beautiful beach… and the perfect spot for a picnic and lazy beach days with the family. Small dogs are allowed out of season with prior consent of the resort manager.

In The Area

Spend the day exploring the attractions of East London (12 km away) or visit the Grand Prix racetrack (3 km away). Take your clubs for a round on the nearby Westbank Golf Course. Enjoy some of the country’s most stunning beaches or try out the great fishing spots along the coast or in the lagoon (which is also a popular spot for pedal boating).

Birding opportunities abound in the indigenous vegetation along the riverbank, from kingfisher, herons and egrets to weavers, wood hoopoes and fish eagles.

For Children

There is a Christmas holiday programme, plenty of fun on the beach, a trampoline, a playground and a kiddies pool.
