Loftus Caravan City has obtained the import and distribution rights for Swift Caravans, the UK’s largest manufacturer of touring Caravans, Motorhomes and Holiday Homes.
The first two units – a single-axle Atlantic model and a double-axle Coastline – arrived in South Africa in mid-February, with one heading to Durban, and the other to Loftus in Randburg, Gauteng. Although both models come standard with a payload of just over 200kg, Woody Loftus told Caravan & Outdoor Life that they are upgrading the caravans to give local owners a bigger payload.
Swift caravans are built to the highest European specifications and trends, including timberless framework construction, intelligent power supply units, AL-KO galvanised steel chassis, enhanced Swift Command control systems, and much more.
The modern European design is sure to have heads turning wherever you go. The first thing you’ll notice on the exterior is the stylish front window and sunroof, a design rarely seen in South Africa.
The interior is also rigged for luxury, with high-quality finishes, tri-foam cushioning for seats and backrests, and an amazing Truma blown-air system that warms the areas under the beds, seats and the washroom.
There’s also no lack of technology in the Swift caravans, with the Swift Command app that allows you to control functions such as power, lighting and heating.
Both models are expected to cost under R500 000.
