A warm welcome by Charlotte and Barry is just 1 hour’s drive south of Durban, between two tidal pools, and a minutes’ walk to a beautiful unspoilt beach at Melville. Entertainment for the whole family from the thrills of sandcastle-building and exploring rock pools to playing volleyball, fishing, sunbathing or just relaxing around a campfire in the natural and tranquil surroundings to your heart’s content. The 42 level campsites are grassed, shaded, electrified and well spaced with taps nearby.The recently upgraded ablutions boast one bath, nine showers and a large scullery with plenty of hot water.

Bryan and Jonathan will keep the little people busy in the play area with trampoline and swimming pool and the teens in the lapa with big-screen DStv, pool table. There’s a multitude of interesting attractions outside the park, like working banana farms, coffee plantations, golf courses, the Lake Eland Reserve, shopping centres for the shopperholics and the Wild Coast Sun for the lucky! Pets allowed out of season with prior consent.

Directions – N2 South from Durban to Port Shepstone take the turn off left at Hibberdene, the R102 “Old Coast Road”, 12 km towards Port Shepstone turn left at Melville Station Road and follow road straight up to the gate.
