The XT140 Predator
The Predator prototype is a rough-and-ready offroad trailer with a steel body-construction on a galvanized chassis. The heavy-duty axle is rated 1 800kg, with an independent rubber torsion swing arm system.
The standard model offers a payload of 500kg, as the trailer has a Tare of 1 100kg and GVM of 1 600kg.
The outside kitchen has a two-plate gas burner on the fold-down hatch, while the slide-out section comes with a utility drawer and space for a fridge.
There’s storage space in the nose cone, which has top and side access hatches. There’s more packing space in the rear with a slide-out that contains four ammo boxes, but can be upgraded to eight boxes.
The main sleeping area is a double bed on top of the trailer in a XT Deluxe rooftop tent.
The Predator comes with a full battery power system, geyser and gas stove, and a pop-up shower cubicle outside with a pull-out shower handle.

The XT Trooper X4
After two years in development, the Trooper that was revealed earlier this year is a well-designed off-roader that sleeps up to four people inside.
With a Tare of 1 270kg and a GVM of 1 600kg, it’s a solid package of e-coated and powder-coated steel body construction that comes on a galvanized chassis with 1 800kg-rated heavy-duty axle (independent coil spring & shock absorber trailing D-arm suspension).(I don’t understand this – please check.)
The trailer is made for living outside. The kitchen is comprised of a fold-down hatch (storage and work surface) and a slide-out two-plate gas stove, with clip-on basin. There is also space on the slide-out for a fridge (not supplied standard).
Inside, there are two sleeping hatches – one to the front and one to the side – with double beds. Access is via a door at the back. The Trooper has a pop-up roof, and a surprising amount of storage below the beds and cupboards (which have canvas doors) on the left side.
The Trooper comes with hot and cold water to the kitchen and bathroom, a full battery system (12V deep cycle), and a 270-degree swing-out awning. There’s an outside pull-out shower handle with pop-up cubicle.
