Ilanga is the whole (lush green!) section that you see directly adjacent to the ocean and beach! You will not find a resort closer to the beach.
The resort is now under new management who strive to make your stay an experience to remember. Come and enjoy your holiday in a well shaded resort with level, good sized stands right next to the ocean. We offer you a fabulous sharknet protected beach with lifeguards during holidays and weekends. The children (and adults!) always enjoy the very safe tidal pool. Surfing, snorkeling and scuba diving can not easily be beaten.
Camping at Ilanga Resort and Caravan ParkThere are 100 generous sized stands (most well grassed), all with 15amp power points. The sites are level with 70% of them shaded by beautiful trees. No stand is further than 60 meters from the high water mark. We have 4 walk-throughs leading directly onto the beach. Ablution facilities provide clean and neat showering and bathing, with a scullery and laundry with ironing facilities.
Visitor security is of a high priority and therefore we have 24 hour guards on duty. The annual sardine run is a phenomenon you don’t want to miss. The rock and surf fishing is always very popular, with Shad, Cob and Garrick always looking for something to eat.
