Situated in the gently rolling hills and only 1.3 km from the white sandy Ramsgate Blue flag beach and the beautiful lagoon, Fairhills Caravan Park has a variety of different sizes and types of camping and caravanning stands available.
Since opening in 2014, Fairhills Caravan Park has grown in leaps and bounds, and the park has become the perfect place to spend a holiday. Fairhills offers 44 sites (sunny or shady), divided into large- and medium-sized sites. The larger sites are mainly for caravanners, or large tented camping. The slightly smaller sites can accommodate a 4-6 sleeper tent easily.
Each site is equipped with an electrical power point and a demarcated braai area. Not all sites have built-in braais, but portable braais can be obtained from the office for a refundable deposit. Fairhills has three separate ablution blocks, one of which has recently been completely upgraded to a 5 star facility with a handicap facility either side. The upper terrace has the original main ablution block, the lower terrace now has the brand new modern large ablution, while the middle terrace has a small convenience ablution facility.
Each ablution has a scullery as well as a hand laundry washing facility. There is also a coin-operated washing machine in the middle building, which has a convenient “honesty library” at hand with a selection of books and magazines to browse through on laundry day. To make your stay even more pleasurable (especially for the young ones), Fairhills has a swimming pool, trampoline, jungle gym, sports and games area as well as a Nature Trail. A small shop sells basic essentials.
The premises has a complete perimeter security fence with patrols, and access is strictly controlled. If you are not in the mood for camping, or don’t have your own caravan, Fairhills also offers 2- and 4-sleeper self-catering caravans, and an 8-sleeper guest apartment.
