Dwarsberg Trout Hideaway is a working fruit and wine farm which is situated in Rawsonville, in the Breedekloof Valley, on route 62, we are only 25 km away from Worcester and one hour’s drive from Cape Town. Dwarsberg Trout Hideaway is the perfect place for functions, fly-fishing and family getaways. The idyllic, natural setting of our wedding venue provides a breath taking backdrop for special, intimate country weddings as well as private and year-end functions.

Nearest Town: Rawsonville/ Worcester

Our conference facility is supplied with Wi-Fi Internet connection. The nine campsites on the banks of the river, can accommodate groups of 15-20 people, per campsite. Our exclusive camp sites are equipped with ablution facilities, warm water and seven of these with electricity. The four self-catering cottages can accommodate up to 33 people sharing. Our cottages are fully equipped, and towels & linen are provided. We also include two bags of wood per night. Each unit has an inside and outside braai. The Wine Cellars in the area are worth a try for their excellent wine and Fair Hills Coffee and Craft shop in Rawsonville , not to be missed!.


(Cape Town via the N1) Through the Huguenot toll-gate Plaza, approx 14 km. Turn right at the Rawsonville (R101) turnoff. Keep straight and at the next Rawsonville turnoff, turn right. (Slanghoek left) At the 4-way stop, turn right again. Drive through Rawsonville. Turn right at the Dwarsberg Trout sign at the Louwshoek Boontjiesrivier turnoff. Continue till at the T-junction / Dwarsberg Trout sign and turn right again. Keep straight until you get to the electronic gate. When at the gate dial cell no. of the gate given to you. The call will open the gate. Only activated cellphone numbers will be able to call and open the gate. Please confirm your cellphone number with Mirna a week prior to your stay. Travel approx. 5 km on a gravel road, (over a narrow pass.) SPEED LIMIT: 40km/h.
