Outbound Campers brought two key models to the 2025 Caravan Show, showcasing their continued focus on compact design, self-sufficiency, and functional upgrades across the range. Leading the lineup was the FB En-Suite, which made its official show debut this year, and joining it was the newly released Storm Gravel Roader, a fully equipped gravel-road tourer with a premium fit-out and robust build.
The FB En-Suite builds on the familiar FB layout with the addition of a fold-out private bathroom – a key update that brings the model in line with modern expectations for self-contained off-road travel. The bathroom pod folds out from the right-hand side of the van, directly opposite the main entrance on the left. Next to the entrance is a compact drinks cabinet, with a matching cupboard on the bathroom side to house the shower.
Despite the added features, the FB En-Suite remains remarkably lightweight, with a tare of just 840 kg and a GVM of 1 250 kg, making it suitable for a wide range of tow vehicles. The body is built from aluminium, and standard equipment includes a two-burner gas stove, full crockery and cutlery set, 105 Ah battery, 15 A charger, and LED lighting throughout.
For 2025, all Outbound models, including the FB En-Suite, have also been upgraded with eight-leaf suspension, replacing the previous six-leaf setup to provide improved load handling and ride quality on uneven roads.
Next to the FB En-Suite stood the Storm Gravel Roader – a compact two-sleeper built to handle more rugged conditions while offering a comprehensive set of interior comforts. The Storm features a full aluminium body, available in white, grey or olive green, and is fitted with an awning for shaded exterior living space.
Inside, the front kitchen is fully fitted with stainless steel surfaces, a Dometic fridge, twin induction plate, and a microwave, making it ideal for self-contained travel. There is also a fitted toilet, adding further independence for off-grid use. Storage is generous, with multiple drawers, a pull-out table, and a slide-out gas bottle tray to streamline exterior use.
Power is handled by a 105 Ah battery, backed by a 200 W solar panel, Victron charger, and Victron solar controller, ensuring efficient power management whether parked at a site or operating entirely off-grid.
With these two models, Outbound has positioned itself squarely in the space between rugged capability and lightweight practicality. Whether you’re after a streamlined unit like the FB En-Suite or a more kitted-out gravel traveller like the Storm, both options reflect a clear commitment to thoughtful design, off-road readiness, and compact luxury.
