Nayela used the 2025 Caravan Show to introduce the most significant departure from their design philosophy to date – a production-ready version of the Mahem, now positioned as a large, double-axle luxury caravan that still retains the brand’s signature futuristic styling and fibreglass construction.
At 7.3 metres in length, the Mahem stretches nearly a metre longer than Nayela’s previous flagship, the 6.4 m Sahara X. The upgrade to a dual-axle chassis has increased the GVM from 2 100 kg to 2 300 kg, making this their heaviest and most feature-rich model yet. The fibreglass body construction remains, now fitted with a solid roof rather than a pop-up, giving the unit a sturdier profile and a more permanent residential feel.
A major internal change is the reorientation of the bed. Instead of being mounted widthways with the head against the left-hand wall, the Mahem now has a longitudinal bed layout with the head toward the A-frame. This change has allowed the designers to insert a second window on the left panel, bringing in more natural light and improving ventilation.
The midsection of the caravan houses a redesigned lounge area featuring an L-shaped bench along the right-hand wall. A swivelling, height-adjustable table tucks into the open section of the bench and can be lowered to form an additional bed when required. This configuration frees up valuable space and creates a more open, functional interior flow.
Directly opposite the door is the enclosed bathroom. Unlike earlier Nayela models where ablution zones were more open, the Mahem includes a fully enclosed shower cubicle with its own door, a flush toilet, and a basin – offering privacy and comfort for longer stays.
Storage and power capacity have also been upgraded. The Mahem includes parasol-style windows, multiple packing compartments on sliders, and nose-mounted storage. The caravan is fitted with a full electrical system, honeycomb insulation, and is designed to be compatible with standard air conditioning units.
