Mobi Lodge made a commanding return to the Caravan Show this year with the launch of its most ambitious model to date – the Quattro. This new flagship pushes the limits of what the brand is known for, combining off-road capability with the space, comfort and practicality needed for long-stay touring.

Built on a double-frame construction with twin 2.5-tonne axles, the Quattro stretches 7 metres in length and introduces a major leap in interior volume and functionality. The slide-out bedroom – a hallmark of the Mobi Lodge design – has been significantly widened to accommodate a king-size bed, now 700 mm broader than the standard unit used in the Continental. With the wider body, the walkway between the bed and opposing cabinetry measures 400 mm, allowing for easier movement and access throughout the van.

A key addition is the new lounge area at the rear. The space is framed by a U-shaped bench along both sides and the back wall, with a table in the centre. This setup not only provides a dedicated living area but can also be converted into a second double bed, making the Quattro a true four-sleeper without relying on external tents or modular furniture.

Interior refinement continues into the bathroom, which remains in the nose of the caravan but now benefits from a less tapered shell design. This creates additional room, especially in the shower, which now has a full 2 metres of internal height. The shower is enclosed, offering a more comfortable and private setup for long trips.

The kitchen has also been reworked for improved ergonomics and layout. The upright fridge – previously placed ahead of the door in the Continental – has been relocated into the side panel near the entrance. Not only is the new fridge significantly larger at 245 ℓ, but this change frees up floor space and allows for better flow inside the caravan.

Material choices across the board reflect a focus on durability and low maintenance. The ceiling finish, for example, has moved away from carpet and is now a clean fibreglass surface, matching the body panels which are constructed with a 25 mm honeycomb core layered between two outer fibreglass skins. This helps keep the tare weight to 1 940 kg, with GVM options available at 2 250 kg or 2 500 kg, depending on axle rating.

Standard equipment includes an electric slide-out room, air conditioning, and over 3 000 litres of storage space across the unit. The total internal living space comes in at 18 square metres – a figure more commonly associated with mid-sized apartments than caravans. This makes the Quattro especially appealing to those entering the long-stay market, whether for extended travel or full-time living.

With its larger chassis, expanded living areas and refined fit-out, the Mobi Lodge Quattro is a deliberate move into the premium segment of luxury off-road caravanning. It retains the toughness and modularity that has made the brand so successful, but now wraps it in a package built for extended comfort and serious escape.
