Brand new but backed by experience, Bruiser 4×4 is UniPod’s luxury off-road division.
Built for serious self-sufficient bush travel, the first Bruiser model is a bold piece of kit with a striking stainless steel, aluminium and fibreglass body, coated in tough Raptor. The undercarriage is serious too: a 2.5-ton axle with long-blade leaf springs, 16 mm U-bolt shackles, and rugged 16-inch wheels.
The fully off-grid setup includes twin 75 ℓ freshwater tanks, a 75 ℓ grey tank, multiple solar systems, dual battery setups (split between inverter and lighting), a 40° departure angle and approximately 300 mm ground clearance. You’ll also find an inverter, compressor jack, cigarette sockets for inflating tyres, and both an ice and coffee machine built in.
The interior bathroom has a wet room layout with a flushable toilet accessible even while travelling. The slide-out bed at the rear arrives fully made up, and a shuttered partition offers privacy.
The kitchen is Italian café inspired — drawers and a gas stove pull out from under the bed capsule, and a wide roadhouse-style hatch opens to link interior and exterior spaces seamlessly.
Final pricing will likely land between R500,000 and R600,000, with a projected weight between 1 000 and 1 200 kg.
