Berg has quickly expanded from last year’s debut and returned with the CX3 — a smaller sibling to the CX6.
Built with retirees in mind, it’s technically a three-sleeper but remains lightweight and practical. Buyers can opt for a 1.7 x 0.86 m single bed alongside the main queen bed. This extra bed can also be used outside as a stretcher and folds away to reveal a stainless-steel worktop.
The layout feels familiar: a long extendable countertop opposite the main bed, LED strip lights mounted on the underside of awning arms, and an awning that now includes a clever sleeve system to drop the roof for easy cleaning. Buyers can choose canvas or solid aluminium sides with fibreglass roofing for the slide-out section.
Standard kit includes a two-burner stove with two 3 kg gas bottles, cutlery and crockery for four, a 14 ℓ gas-electric geyser, 150 ℓ water tank with pump and level gauge, and a Victron 1200 W inverter with solar controller. Stabilisers have been swapped for levelling jacks, and buyers now have several new colour combinations to pick from.
