Each spacious stand at Bivane Dam is equipped with its own electricity point, potable water tap, braai facility, and picnic bench, ensuring a comfortable camping experience. The recently upgraded communal ablution facilities are spotless, offering hot showers and flush toilets, with additional conveniences such as a communal washing machine and tumble dryer.

Bikini Beach Bushcamp
Located on a scenic bend of the Manzaan River, this camp features a charming lapa with a loft sleeping area, ideal for visitors without tents. The lapa includes a built-in braai and cooking hearth for all-weather convenience. Guests can relax in the natural pool, and the camp is complete with its own toilet and hot-water shower.
Kiaat Bushcamp
Situated where the Manzaan River meets the Bivane Dam, this spacious camp provides ample room for larger groups. Facilities include a lapa, braai area, flushing toilet, and hot-water shower. Activities include fishing, swimming, hiking, or simply unwinding in serene natural surroundings.
Soetdoring & Rooi-Ivoor Bushcamps
Positioned just 200 metres apart, these two intimate bushcamps share a communal shower with warm water and a flushing toilet. Each site boasts its own lapa and braai facilities, ideal for relaxing after a day of fishing, hiking, or exploring the area’s natural beauty.
Beyond the campsite, outdoor enthusiasts will find abundant opportunities for adventure. The Bivane Dam is renowned for excellent bass fishing and offers anglers a chance to catch freshwater Mackerel, Yellowfish, Tilapia, Carp, and Barbel.
Water sport lovers can enjoy canoeing, paddle-boating, and inflatable canoe activities, while thrill-seekers will delight in river rafting on the turbulent waters below the dam wall.
Land-based adventures include over 13 kilometres of picturesque hiking trails, mountain biking routes, and 38 kilometres of challenging quad bike and 4×4 trails. A newly added 9-hole mini-golf course provides leisurely entertainment with stunning dam views.
