Jos Joubert from Abba Campers has been building camper units for decades, and his units today are some of the best on the market.
The piggyback units have been tweaked and changed over the years to provide outdoor lovers with a comfortable and practical camping experience. Jos used his campers extensively when he personally goes camping, so you know that what he has designed comes from practical experience.
Recently, Abba Campers has expanded the business and now also customize campervans.
One of the latest builds Jos did was displayed at the Caravan Camp & Destination Show, and as with all his project, the work was exceptional.
The conversion is a sophisticated two-sleeper with a neat kitchen/dinette installed on the driver side of the van.
With the back seats upright and the front seat swivelled, there’s comfortable seating for four people. Even though this design is only for two people, Jos’ conversions can be done to sleep four people, with two on the folded-down back seats, and two in the pop-up Reimo roof.
The dinette table can easily be detached and stored, creating more space inside for using the kitchen, which consists of a work surface, a basin with running water, two-plate gas burner stove, storage space and a small fridge.
