The facilities of the Expo are very similar to the Sprint in that the Expo is also a three berth, no bathroom, a small kitchen comprising of counter space, cupboards with fittings to hold crockery, no stove or basin but does have a decent double-door fridge 220 litre( 220volt only ) The Expo is more spacious in that it is longer and wider than the Sprint and has more packing space. Nice features are drinks cabinet, down- lighting, reading lights for the bed, space for a porta-potty, plug points, roman blinds and a fancy headboard. I like the fact that the double bed slides away from the wall so that you have an island bed of sorts. The weight of the van is 1210kgs so you may need a 2litre tow vehicle. I would buy the sides and front that zips onto the awning thus creating a fully enclosed tent, and would also mount a microwave on the kitchen shelf. The price of the Expo is R127,400. Another option would be the Sprite Swing which sells for R119,700 and is a four berth van with a complete outside kitchen, no bathroom, has a 200litre fridge and has a full tent. Anyway, that's my two cents worth of info - hope it helps a bit. Let us know what you decide on.
Happy camping.
Regards, Cowen

We just bought the Expo, after I was totally convinced that we would buy the new Swing as soon as it was available. Our reasons: The swing is really narrow - you have to squeeze past he bed on either side to get next to it.
The packing space in the Swing is limited. The overhead shelves are shallow and doesn't give you much space at all.
The "outside kitchen" is a myth! Try to stand next to the oven or the basins, your shoulder is squashed right into the side of the caravan. Silly.
What really irritated the living life out of me, is that I bump my head on exiting the swing (I am a full 1.54m short - 5 ft) And if I bump my head, hubby, who is considerably taller will really get a whack!
I did however love the colour scheme in the Swing.
We also bought the front and sides of the awning, as well as 2 multirooms for the children to sleep in.
Oh and lastly, we bought from Midlands Caravan and got fantastic service from Glenda. She is a star!
We are using the Expo for the first time next weekend to go to Bonamanzi in KZN - can't wait any longer!!!

Hi Christa,
Yup we took the plunge too and got the Expo....Also had it's first run in last weekend and all I can say is that its fantastic, so spacious. I have to agree the narrowness of the swing turned me away too.

Yes the packing space is far superior than all the other vans in this price range.

We also enquired about the modular tent and beleive it or not but you can get one so we did.

Further I didn't like the new colour scheme and again they managed to arrange it all in the old colour scheme. Fantastic service from Natal Caravans & Marine.

As for the outside Kitchen agree I had a 12V plug fitted and modified my basin unit to take a pump and tap and now I have a basin I can put anywhere with running water.

What I also liked is that you can get std tables and racks that fit onto the existing extrussions on the van.

Enjoy
