Hi Warren
A short wheel base vehicle becomes a better tow vehicle due to the distance from the rear axle to the "A" frame.
Short wheel base vehicle are more prone to being blown around on the road when compaired to a long wheel base. However this is a Landie so
1. It's to heavy to be blown around &
2. It want go fast enough anyway (Sorry just couldn't help myself)

Cheers

Hi Mark, nice ta cross paths Cool

thanks for the heads up about the legendary speed limits of a Landy

Nooooooow I remember... Exclamation

My Last one (A V8 110), I dealer fitted (Tom Campher motors) a 38mm double barrel downdraught Weber ta get a wee more on the top end

Boy... Did I get it!!! Surprised went like 'ell except past a gararge

These days Speed? she no worry me.. At my age anything over 60 be downright suicide.. Wink Wink Laughing

I'm the sod wot's got awarded a "grandpa learning ta drive" Evil or Very Mad bumper sticker (from me wipper-snapper)...

Mind you, it DOES help me ta hog the fast lane.... Laughing

Have a great one
Warren
