It's stupid, senseless and totally confusing - what do designers and manufacturers think?

Why do they furnish caravans (especially pop-tops) with tiny knee-hight cupboards, counter tops and cubbyholes? These useless little structures are too low to be optimal useful and too teeny weeny to be a functional storage unit. These little structures also make the caravan look cluttered and is the major contributor to the flimsy look our caravans have in South Africa.

Comparing our caravans to the models overseas, one notice right away the well planned insides of the vans abroad. They are designed for adults, and not for meter-height midgets like ours - even the beds in our caravans are smaller! Hallo, when we are on holiday we need to sleep comfortable, not so?

Please mr Designer, build a SA caravan for South African people!

Like tents, divide the so called "number of people it sleeps" by two....

Promise ya, yaas gotta be r-e-a-l friendly Rolling Eyes

to sleep 4 peple in a 4 berth caravan.....

I really agree with a lot of remarks that you guys posted.

Overall quality is really poor and the designers.....???

In the WegSleep magazine there is at the moment a competition together with Jurgens.
One can design one's perfect caravan, sent it in. The readers will vote and the winner will win the first one of 100 that will be build.

I think it is the first step in the right direction and hopefully it means that Jurgens is starting to listen to us.

On the quality. Well. Unfortunately still nothing.

So please. Sent in you ideas. Mine is allready in and you have time to 30 September 2010. :D

I wonder if I can enter having been so critical of Jurgens? I even had to change my avatar to match my mood when thinking about the rubbish they are making now !
Maybe they don't have a designer anymore, hence the competition.
